Angel Phillips is a devout young woman from South Carolina who enrolled in Claremont Academy after developing powers following experimental cancer treatments. Her cancer has completely disappeared and she now quickly heals from any injury. She can even transfer this rapid healing to others. To her horror she has also learned she can reverse healing and cause wounds to open on those she touches in anger, but doing so leaves her feeling physically ill. Further she can manifest spirits (which she calls seraphs) which protect her and her allies and seak to restrain her enemies. Gabriella's "Seraphs" resemble ghostly white humanoids. Despite their appearance, they are fully corporeal and vulnerable to all physical effects. They can teleport to position themselevs and are most effective at attempting to team together, grab and hold opponents. They can also project forcefields out around allies and reflect attacks back at opponents.
