Complications: Motivation: Training The only way to get better at magic is practice. Galtheon works with the Ultra Guard to perfect his spells, and his magical technique. Focus Galtheon doesn't technically need the staff he carries to cast his magic, but it helps maintain his focus. Without the staff, his Magic array gains the unreliable flaw. If the magic fails to go off, he might be shaken and unable to perform more magic until he recovers the staff

The Ultra Guard are a team of heroes charged with defending Atlantis from super-powered threats and natural disasters. While King Theseus (and later Queen Thetis) are themselves quite potent heroes, their official duties (and the fears of their advisors) keep them from responding to every danger that comes Atlantis's way).

Galtheon is the newest of the Ultraguard, joining after two other longtime members retired. He is confident in his abilities, ready to push them to the limits to learn more, but also eager to prove his worth to his teammates

He wears a green tunic and a blue belt and wears his head shaved except for a long blond ponytial and a short, trim beard. He carries a staff with a crystal ball, through which he focuses some of his magic

Galtheon wields a variety of magics, from magic fields protecting him from elemental forces, rapid teleportation spells to blink him out of danger, to offensive magical blasts and an energy sapping burst. In emergencies, he is tasked with teleporting his team (and possibly civilians) out of danger
