Complications: Motivation: Power Umbral Knight rose through the ranks of SHADOW with his eye firmly on the top. He'll advance SHADOW's interests, but he's doing it to advance his own interests, and continue his path upward. Until he is ready to confront Overshadow himself. Pride: He's proud of his martial prowess, his position in SHADOW and his business acumen. And he'll defend that pride if he feels it's been insulted.

Umbral Knight is the leader of a cell of SHADOW operatives, recently deployed to Freedom City. He is a master chi-wielder, having studied with the finest masters in China, learning to hone his body to perfection. Umbral Knight wears a dark blue uniform with a silver breastplate, dark red cape and a helmet. His face is concealed behind a mirrored faceplate, his inferiors know him only by his thick German accent.

In truth, Umbral Knight is an older German gentleman (though still remarkably spry), named Friedrich Jung. Jung has worked his way in to the Rhodes Foundation, serving as its Chief Financial Officer, to get close to the Foundation's CEO, searching for secrets of the Scarb. Umbral Knight thinks those secrets would surely be a boon to him and his SHADOW masters.
