SHADOW Agents

SHADOW is the Secret Hiearchy of Agents for Domination Over the World. It is a secret organization operating world wide to expand the power-base of its leader Overshadow. Overshadow has access to top of the line technology and a vast army of loyal clones.

I've taken to seeing SHADOW as Cobra from the G.I. Joe cartoons. Even used a modified image of Cobra Commander (the version from the IDW series), as Umbral Knight, the local SHADOW leader. So SHADOW now has a selection of special agent types as varied as a heavily merchandised toy line requires.

Most SHADOW agents are expendible, receiving little training and equipment, achieving their objectives with numbers. But sometimes, SHADOW requires more skilled agents with specific talents and equipment. Most of these should still be treated as minions, unless they're the central element of the encounter


Stealth Agent - PL 10

STR 2, STA 2, AGL 3, DEX 4, FGT 6, INT 0, AWE 4, PRE 1

Powers:

Advantages: Agile Feint, All-out Attack, Assessment, Close Attack 10, Defensive Roll 2, Improved Initiative 3, Power Attack, Precise Attack (Close, Concealment), Set-up

Totals: Abilities 44 + Powers 11 + Advantages 21 + Skills 27 (53 ranks) + Defenses 13 = 116

Stealth Agents are expert infiltrators. Between their training and their equipment they can get in and out of most places undetected. Once inside they are superb martial artists, letting them execute assassination missions or support combat missions. They are often equipped with additional weapons, as the mission requires


Porter Agent - PL 5

Advantages: Ranged Attack 2, Improved Grab, Improved Hold

Equipment: Blaster Pistol, Bulletproof Vest

Offense: Init +1, Unarmed +5 (DC 16), Grab +5 (DC 15), Blaster Pistol +5 (20), Cluster Grenade: 60' Burst (DC 20) Defense: Dodge 5, Parry 5, Fort 3, Tou 5, Will 2

Totals: Abilities 22 + Powers 34 + Advantages 2 + Equipment 3 + Skills 8 (15 ranks) + Defenses 8 = 77

When mobility is important, or targets are inaccessible, SHADOW has a limited number of Teleport Packs available. Porter Agents are often equipped with timed cluster grenades, dealing damage over a wide area after they've already left. Or special gauntlets making it easier for the agents to grapple and abduct targets


Fire Agent - PL 6

STR 1, STA 1, AGL 1, DEX 3, FGT 5, INT 0, AWE 0, PRE 0

Powers:

Equipment: Gas Mask, Bulletproof Vest

Skills: Expertise: Soldier 5 (+5), Insight 5 (+5), Perception 5 (+5)

Offense: Init +1, Unarmed +5 (DC 16), Flamethrower: Line (DC 21) Dodge 5, Parry 5, Fort 3, Tou 5, Will 2

Totals: Abilities 22 + Powers 32 + Equoment 1 + Skills 8 (15 ranks) + Defenses 8 = 71

Fire Agents are trained and equipped to burn things. Their long jets of flame can also contain and route their enemies. Along with their portable flamethrowers, they also carry emplacable units that leave up continuous jets of flame


Shock Trooper - PL 10

STR 4, STA 4, AGL 4, DEX 6, FGT 8, INT 2, AWE 2, PRE 2

Advantages: Fearless, Precise Attack (Ranged, Concealment, Cover), Ultimate Effort (Heavy Pulse Rifle)

Equipment: Shock Trooper Battle Dress (Protection 4, Immunity (Half) Heat/Fire, Cold Ice, Immunity: Gaseous Poisons/Contaminants, Cold, Heat) (17ep)

Skills: Expertise: Soldier 5 (+7), Intimidation 6 (+8), Ranged Combat: Heavy Purlse Rifle 6 (+12)

Offense: Init +4, Unarmed +8 (DC 19), Heavy Pulse Rifle +12 (DC 23), Heavy Flash Grenade (DC Fort 20), Vibroblade +8 (DC 25) Defense: Dodge 10, Parry 10, Fort 6, Tou 8, Will 8

Totals: Abilities 64 + Powers 36 + Advantages 4 + Equipment 4 + Skills 9 (17 ranks) + Defenses 16 = 133

Complications: Overcharged: Wear a backpack energy-pack for their heavy pulse rifles. High-powered and unstable. If targeted and destroted (toughness 6), explodes doing DC27 damage to trooper, and DC23 damage to everyone within 15feet. Then heavy pulse rifle is unusable

Shock Troopers are heavily enhanced super-soldiers. They are armed with the heaviest armor and weapons that SHADOW can give them. They are a fierce sight on the battlefield, sent in to the heaviest combat or to engage superhuman opponents. SHADOW scientists continue to work to correct the problems with their unstable power packs.
